wieslaw Posted July 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Last year in Dec. we went from Ensenada to Hawaii on RCI's LOS and there was casino and gambeling. Wes
imsulin Posted July 22, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2004 If you leave the mainland from a foreign port (Enseneda, Mexico, or Vancouver, B.C.), it takes about five days at sea to reach Hawaii, and the ship's casino will be open. If you are doing a 7-night round-trip cruise FROM Hawaii...no casino, as gambling is illegal in Hawaii.
wieslaw Posted July 23, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2004 Hi imsulin, I was not paying that much attention to the casino, after 'contributing' my share I did not care much if it was open or not, but I think that even in Hawaii once we got in the international waters between the islands the casino was open. kitty9 Posted July 23, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 23, 2004 If you're doing the NCL Pride, there isn't a casino, and most cruise ships don't open their casinos while cruising in the vicinity of the islands which means they won't be open at all until you're doing the crossing part of the cruise which means from Ensenada to Hawaii or the reverse. frankcl Posted July 23, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 23, 2004 The ships will have their casinos open enroute to and from hawaii, but will not open them when going from one port in hawaii to another in hawaii.
