New Belize Excursion?

Hey Everyone,

Okay so I was looking for something to do in Belize since cave tubing seems to be not so much an idea anymore. I found this site http://www.coralbreezetours.com/tours_add.html?current_category=15&ref_page=calendar&t_date=2007-01-23&t_available=108 and it has a Manatee watch, reef snorkeling and Caribbean beach break. It sounds awesome! An all day private tour and they schedule around cruise ships. It's $65 a person unless more than 6 and then there is a 10% discount. You can also adjust what you would like to do. I just wanted to put this out there for you all. I hadnt heard about this since I have been reading the postings on cruise critic. If anyone has done this, please let me know what you thought and how it was.

Thanks for the info. We also are having second thoughts about cave-tubing and several of the tours on this web site interest us. Has anyone done the tour referred to above? What about the River rafting. That sounds a little more relaxing floating than the cave-tubing. Does anyone know who far the ride is before getting in the river? Thanks for any info

I had read somewhere that you are more likely to see Manatee's some months of the year than others. Wish I could remember the specifics, but something you may want to ask about if you are interested in this tour.

Has anyone used the Coral Breeze-Belize Tours? Also, Has anyone done the River Rafting excursion? My wife and I had planned to do the Cave Tubing, but my wife came across this River Rafting. Looks like fun...

 

Anyone have any experience with this one to share with us?

Hi! We spent a week in Belize in June and did this excursion while we were there. We did not do it through Coral Breeze however, we did it through another company but it sounds like the exact same trip. We had a wonderful time. We saw several manatees, including a mother and baby. I would recomend taking along a pair of binoculaurs. The snorkeling was fabulous and the island they took us to (Goff's Caye) was gorgeous. When we arrived at the island, there was a small group there from a Carnival cruise, but they left shortly after we arrived. I would definitely recomend this excursion.

Lynninsc, can you please tell me what other company you used for the Manatee watch/beach break? Coral Breeze has been the only company we've been able to find on-line and we'd like to have some other options.
