NCL Star Questions

G&L in WPG

Recommended Posts

Hello all previous Star cruisers,

I have several questions I need help with! We are booked on the 02/26/07 sailing of the Star to the Mexican Rivier in inside cabins.

I hear rumors that there are coffee makers in each cabin. Please tell me it's true! How big are they?

Are the safes the type that lock with a magnetic card, or the type you program with a number?

Can you bring a six pack of beer in your back pack on board at the ports (not at embarkation)? The "notorious" booze confiscating inspectors at Carnival never blinked an eye... At anything... Ever...

Does each room come with a fridge (for the beer I smuggle in port):D . Will the Steward empty it?

Thanks for any and all help!

There are coffee makers, but they are small. Probably enough for two cups or so. (We are tea drinkers)

The safe in the room is programmed by a number.

NCL has a strict policy of no alcohol allowed to be brought on board. You can take your chances. We brought soda cans on board with us and they never opened our bag to check. They asked and we said it was soda.

Each room does come with a fridge. We emptied it ourselves when we went into the room and told the steward we did not want anything. He took all of the drinks away. We used the fridge to store the soda we brought with us and the beers we bought during drink specials offered on certain nights. (check out the casino bar after midnight)
