where to go?

We are going on the Dawn and just to get a sense of direction, what deck will we be on when we board the ship?

Another suggestion: you will board Deck 7 mid and come into the Grand Atrium. The elevators there tend to be very crowded. Some suggestions:

 

1.) If going directly to cabin and it is forward or aft, go to those elevators to get up or down quicker. (to get to aft, go through Pearly King Pub. To go forward, go through photo gallery.)

 

2.) If you are too early to go to cabin, (usually they are not ready until 1:00-2:00 p.m.), go get something to eat. If going to Venetian Main restaurant, again go through Pearly Kings Pub as the restaurant is assesible from Deck 7 aft (stairs between the gift shop doors) or if going to the buffet, do the same thing and go aft and take the aft elevators up to Deck 12 and enter the buffet from the rear. Find a place to "lay claim to" and pile your carryons in the large window sill, one person remain to guard the table (more important to guard than the carryons...lol) and the rest go through the rear lines. (less crowded.)
