Melxx Posted May 27, 2007 #27 Share Posted May 27, 2007 Hi Could someone please tell me how long it takes to fly back from Acapulco to Manchester - I know sometimes they make a refuelling stop.:) Many thanks. Hi pretenda, I've flown to Acapulco twice from Manchester First flight with Thomas Cook P & O's chosen Airline to cruise on the Adonia. It took around 15 hours with a refuelling stop in Cuba. We had about 2 hours stop over in Cuba which was nice because it enabled us to stretch our legs and freshen up a bit. Not all flights with P & O allow you get off the plane when refuelling so I would check with P & O or the airline you are travelling with. The Second flight to Acapulco we arranged ourselves because we wanted to stay 5 days in Acapulco before our cruise on the Arcadia we flew with BA via Mexico City it took around 13 hours with an hour stop over at the time no P & O flights went via Mexico city. So I would say expect anything between 13 - 15 hours. It takes about an hour drive from Acapulco airport after that to the cruise terminal. Both cruises were wonderful they must have been to fly out all that way twice the Panama Canal is not to be missed. Have a great Cruise.
