Was Just wondering about this

Was just thinking about our docs that will be coming in, in about a month or so. I looked at my DH and said, you know on our last cruise in May we got our docs in the mail just as they said we would.

But!!

Carnival sends these docs thru the regular mail system USPS with no delivery conformation or certified.

I guess it would run in to a lot of money, but has anyone else wondered why Carnival doesn't send your docs certified return receipt so they would have a signature card that you had in fact received your docs? Or send USPS Priority Mail or UPS or Federal Express?

Just wondering if anyone else has thought about this?

:) you know where my mind is!

Back in the pre-www days when I booked with a local TA, I picked the tickets up at agency office. But, for years now, I've received them regular USPS. I've never had a problem getting the tickets in the mail. I've read that the cruise lines will eventually be going with online tickets just as the airlines do. If it happens, I'll sure miss doing the document dance.
