Timing on Carribean Princess

We are doing our first Princess cruise after 6 Disneys. We have a couple of questions,

1. What time does embarkation start in Ft. Lauderdale?

2. What time does debarkation start in Ft. Lauderdale?

We are looking forward to the change and the price difference.

Just came off the Caribbean Princess a week ago--loved the cruise, and great ship!

 

We boarded around 12:20. This is the second time I arrived at the pier too early and had to wait on a fairly long line until it started to move.

Once it does begin to move, though, it moves pretty quickly. After your carry on bags go through x-ray, there are several lines designated by deck. Cabins beginning with A are on Aloha, B on Baha, C on Carib, D on Dolphin, etc.

 

Debarkation begins around 7:30 am, and debarkation time is by color-coded tags which are delivered to your cabin a couple of days prior to the last day. If you need an early debarkation, you can ask Customer Service (on deck #6) to give you the appropriate tag, and if you are willing to carry off all of your luggage, then you can be among the first off.
