I was on the Liberty the week of 4/16 and Todd said he was going on vacation. Someone on another thread heard he was coming back July sometime. I think it was a 3 month vacation.

Pete, have you (or anyone else) cruised with Jeff Bronson (now on the Pride)? If so . . . what's he like?

 

My DH and I sailed with Bronson on our honeymoon cruise on the Paradise 3 years ago. We LOVED him. He was the best CD we have ever had. I would definitely sail on his ship again.

hmmmmm...maybe he went back to being a DJ since on our Glory Christmas Cruise that seemed to be his best talent:rolleyes: He gave very looooong announcements, but wasnt too visible

We had Dana on our Victory cruise out of our home city NY. I hate to say it but we couldn't stand the sound of his voice. We hardly ever saw him but his announcements were so dry & he just didn't have the personality of the other CD's we have had. No two are alike but he could have at least pretended to enjoy his job:rolleyes: . I think what I remember most of him was when he told us the first evening of the cruise

Wow - That would have done it for me if I had heard him make that comment. I would have difinitely mentioned it on my comment card. We have only been on 4 cruises so far, and luckily all our other cruises have had great CD's so I consider us to be really fortunate.

Just received word from John Heald (Cruise Director on the Freedom) that Wee Jimmy returns to the Carnival Glory on 24th August 2007!

 

Storm'n Norman cruises on the Glory on 1st September 07! :cool:

 

Will be my 34th Carnival cruise! Completed my last cruise on the Carnival Valor in mid May 07!:)

Guess I was too excited about being on my first cruise that I am at a loss as to who the CD was on the Legend. Where do you usually see them at??Some post that they were really impressed with their CD. During the cruise what do they do that makes the cruise more enjoyable??? Guess i was just too busy last time to even have thought about a CD.

We cruise with a Special Needs Child and they have been kind enough to contact us when they know we are sailing. There are some schedules and small special requests that they handle for us.

 

This will be our 3rd cruise with Big Tex since December and we love he and Kimmie his wife and head dancer) to pieces. Big Tex is one of the cruise directors that truly LOVES what he does. If you would like to email him a message to my email address:
