Upon returning to my room I saw a strange man on my balcony and the divider open to the next balcony. Called the desk and asked them to get him off. My stateroom door was locked, luckily, and I wasn't going to confront him. The woman who answered the phone said I had to have authorized this for it to happen. False. We had been on a ship sponsered excursion since early morning. Someone did come with the special locks and hardware to close the divider. I feel my safety was compromised by Carnival allowing, even helping, this to happen. I always use the peephole for the front door but at the same time they were allowing strangers onto my balcony unbeknown to me. I emailed Bob D. when I returned home but have not heard from him. How long should it take for a reply? Should I senda paper copy telling them they need to be more prudent about security?
