Choosing a cabin

Hi all ...

This is a great site!

 

We're planning our first cruise on a big ship for April (Eastern Caribbean, Zuiderdam). Some posters on another thread said they loved staying in "aft" cabins. Are these specifically the handful of rooms that face straight back, or any room near the back of the ship?

Also, any advice on what rooms to stay away from?

They FaCe Straight Back. Once You Go Back You Will Be Spoiled. Ncl Has Excellent Aft Minisuites On Jewel, Prideof Hawaii, Gem.

I LOVE the aft cabins--the view of the wake, panoramic vistas, the quiet...I think they're the best. DH doesn't agree--he doesn't like the longer walk to other parts of the ship.
