dc4 Posted January 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2007 We will be cruising on the Jewel and I would appreciate any pictures or information on cabin 1570 - particularly the balcony/overhang.
Iamthesea Posted January 2, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2007 Hi. I am almost positive that 1570 IS NOT a Junior Suite. It's a D1. As far as the overhang goes, we didn't mind it at all. Gave some shade on those hot sunny days.
rosie40 Posted January 2, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2007 Hi. I am almost positive that 1570 IS NOT a Junior Suite. It's a D1. As far as the overhang goes, we didn't mind it at all. Gave some shade on those hot sunny days. Hmmm, interesting... I was under the impression that all the Radiance Class ships were the same, but indeed, on Radiance it is not a JS but on the Jewel it is. In any case, here is a link to some great pics of the Jewel showing the overhangs. If you pull up deck 10 on the RCI website for that ship, you can sort of match up your location and get a pretty good mental picture. http://community.webshots.com/album/125049819TVWuuS?start=12 Hope it helps :)
Iamthesea Posted January 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2007 That's how I knew! ;) I remember when we were getting ready to book our JS on the Serenade, I was looking at the Radiance deck plans and almost made the same mistake. We were in 1570 on the Serenade. The overhang was not as prominent in that location.
