one way rental car...

Recommended Posts

We're flying into FLL a day early and staying at the Radisson downtown Miami the night before, so we would like a rental car for the day...

Do any rental companies allow one-way drop-offs at the port of miami?

I know that you can drop off at MIA and get a free shutttle, but why add 45min. to an hour if you don't have to.

I know several companies have downtown locations that are within 5-8 minutes of the port so that's an option, but the port itself would be mighty convenient!!!

Any help, would be appreciated. Thanks

I have never done it at the FLL or MIA airports, but I did it in Orlando. They seem to have so much back and forth traffic with the cruise ships that they didn't even charge us a premium. Funny thing, we had the car for such a short time that we didn't even have to top of the gas tank!
