Ryanne Posted July 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Hello, We've just booked the Radiance for the 12/5 eastern sailing. I've cruised before but lately only on Carnival and have a couple of questions. 1. What is the "towel policy" for pool/beach towels? 2. Can I bring my own wine for the dining room and just pay an uncorkage fee? 3. What is the private island like and what is your favorite thing to do there? 4. Are there plenty of options for lunch if you don't want to dress for the dining room? (Carnival's lunch buffet always looked awful, but the pizza, deli and grill options were great) 5. Also any comments on the piano bar on the Radiance? It's always been one of my favorite places to hang out on a cruise. I know I have a ton of questions...but any information would be great! Thanks,
BaumD Posted July 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2004 1. You cabin attendant will provide one towel per person, which you can exchange at the pool for a dry one if needed. They claim if you lose it. they will charge you $20, but never heard of anyone being charged. 2. Yes you can bring the wine. They may or may not charge you the corking fee. 3. Beach, laying in the sun, snorkelling, eating (beach BBQ brought over from ship) 4. You don't have to "dress" to eat in the dining room for lunch. Shorts are OK (they prefer no bathing suits). The Windjammer cafe near the pool has a full buffet lunch.
