bbqbrad Posted January 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2007 I will be doing a back to back. I will bump to platinum after the first 7 nights if they count as seperate cruises. I'm curious to know how Princess handles B2Bs. Brad

barbarah33 Posted January 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2007 You should get credit for two cruises.
Toto2Kansas Posted January 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2007 If you are booked under two seperate booking numbers for your back to back, then it will count as 2 cruises. If that is so, the second 7 nights you will receive your platinum status and a new silver (instead of gold) cruise card for that sailing. Enjoy! robtulipe Posted January 5, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2007 BTB are not always credited as two cruises. It depends on how it is booked. If booked as two separate cruises with two different itinerary #, it count as two cruises. If booked as one cruise for the whole period and the itinerary # has the 1st cruise itinerary# with a letter A, it is considered a single cruise only and credited as such. I ran into this investigating the Regal Princess cruise to and from Lima, Peru out of San Juan. It could be booked as two separate 12 nights cruises, G707 and G708 or as one 24 nights cruise, G707A. The 24 nights cruise was slightly cheaper than the two 12 nights ones combined but you could only use one FCC for it and only got credit for one cruise for the Captain's Circle. I have read about this before, so if you book the cheaper option then you only get one credit. Our B2B was 2 seperate cruises, booked with 2 seperate booking numbers, deposits etc so we got 2 credits for it.:D
