Passport questions for the Crown in the Southern Caribbean

On which Island, if any, are passports required? Can you just take a copy off the ship with you or does it have to be the original? Will it be required to get back on the ship at each port or is the cruisecard sufficient? Also. any suggestions on how to keep your ID and other stuff high and dry (and safe) while on excursions? Any particular items to keep it all in (and where to buy it)?

Thanks for any info

We did not have to show our passports on any island on our recent S. Caribbean cruise. We carried ours with us whenever we left the ship just in case. Can't help you on the question where to keep the passport -- my MIL was there to watch our stuff if we were in the water. Have a great time!

While we never had to show our passports, we were told to be sure to take our cruise cards and a photo ID every time we left the ship.
