4mygrls Posted January 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2007 We got cerified pada a long time ago. We would have to go through a refresher course if we dove. What I'm concerned about is how long does it take to go through whatever training they require for scuba? Do you have enough time left to dive? Snorkeling seems like it would be less complicated as far as set up time. Am I wrong? Actually, my dh is more concerned with the time frame. I loved diving. We dove in Key West and it was beautiful. Okay, here's the biggy? I think we are looking at going to cozumel, costa maya, belize. I can't remember exactly the other ports? I think one was grand cayman. It is the west carribean and on either the NCL Sun or possibly Carnivals Conquest. I have to check again. What is the best place to snorkel or dive? What about waterfalls, caverns, dune buggies or 4x4 Jeeps. We like to do exciting stuff. Oh, and watersports too? There's so much to choose from. Thanks:eek:
CruiseKing Posted January 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2007 You may want to look at a refresher course offered on board. It is usually done on a sea day in the pool. Some academic revue and then confined water.
