Forward OV cabins Voyager class

Recommended Posts

Hi-

I've searched through the posts here but don't see anyone who's written about the forward Cat H/F OV rooms. I am contemplating upgrading from an inside Cat M - have decided balconies may be a bit pricy for this time around (8/29 EOS), but there are some remaining OV rooms that may be a good compromise.

Between being on Deck 2 versus being on a higher deck but literally in the front of the ship (e.g., 9204, 7504, 7502 or corner OV 7206) - would there be a hands down preference? I have read that there can be more motion at the front, but it might be neat to see where you are going. Any other pros/cons?

Thanks!

Cruzenewbie, I am booked in cabin 7206 on the Mariner in October. I have also been trying to find out information about these cabins. I did have one person tell me that they peeked into that cabin during disembarkation and because it is a corner cabin it is a little different than the other Cat. H cabins. They said that it (and 7506) has two windows instead of just one like the other Cat. H cabins. They also said that those two cabins are shaped just like they are shown on the deck plans. I've been really hoping to find someone who either has pictures of that cabin or who could try to get a few pictures of the cabin. But I haven't had any luck with it yet. As for motion, I guess that it may be a little more noticable up there, but I'm sure I've read some posts where people said they had the forward cabins and weren't affected by it. I hope this helps a little bit.
