Balcony Breakfast and Dinner on the Grand

Can someone tell us how to book the balcony breakfast and dinner on the Grand? Also, we heard that if you book the breakfast, you get complimentary robes to take home with you...is this true?

Finally, are there any other "secrets" not so commonly known to do on board?

Thanks in advance.

Your TA can book them for you in advance. Or you can book on the ship.

We loved the Breakfast on the Balcony. But we did not get any robes!

The best "secret" on the Grand is the Plantation Pool on the back of the ship, actually in the middle of the spa. But it is open to everyone, you don't have to be a spa customer. Has nice hot tubs, and there are saunas and steam rooms right next to it. It is very lightly used.

You don't get robes with just the balcony breakfast. There are some special occasions packages that do include the fluffy robes - but be forewarned, they take up a LOT of space in your suitcase.

The balcony breakfast was quite well advertised on Grand Princess. I believe they called it Mayan Balcony Breakfast. It comes with two fruit cups, two seafood quiches with extra crab meat, two servings of smoked salmon, a plate of assorted pastries, tea, coffee, juice, and a half-bottle of champagne (Moet). It is more than enough for two people; we had our in-laws come over and share and no one left hungry.

Mike, that spa pool is located forward. The Terrace Pool is at the back, and is also supposed to be adults-only. Didn't see anyone using that one.
