allshookup Posted July 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2004 I have a forward mini-suite booked on the Dawn for next April and I was just curious if anyone knew what the gray area is on the brochure under the Spinnaker Lounge? I thought it might be that Spinnaker is 2 levels but there appears to be some enclosed balconies and I don't recall them in Spinnaker on our last cruise. It doesn't appear as if they are listed on the brochure as staterooms though so I am confused. Any ideas?

The Bridge - they have to operate the ship from somewhere forward :D
crystalloubear Posted July 23, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2004 All the way forward on Deck 11 is the bridge. We were in an AB suite right near the forward elevators. When we looked forward off of our balcony, we could see where it sticks out in the front.
allshookup Posted July 23, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted July 23, 2004 ahhhh yes. Thank you I see where the bridge is all enclosed w/ glass and sticks out a bit in the front. So I assume the enclosed balconies directly behind the glass area are also part of the bridge?
Druke I Posted July 23, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 23, 2004 Bridge wings on the newest ships are enclosed. The days of open bridges and open bridge wings are pretty much over.
