last ??, I think?? cruising july, price going down?

ok, I am learning a lot. I have questions about cruising in July (7/1)

 

1) will it be crowded? We booked about amonth ago, do you think prices will drop? do they tipically drop for July cruises?

 

2)carnival legend, will there be lots of kids on board.

 

3)I realize it will be hot, how hot/humid/dry? we are doing Belize, costa Maya, Cancun & .... hmm, I forget right now the last island..oh, grand Caymen.

 

4)we booked an ocean view, any chance of being bumped up to a balcony room ? :D

 

ok, I am sorry if it seems that my name keeps popping up. I just have soo many questions and want to make our first cruise very special and lead to more cruises.:)

1. Will probably be full.

2. About as many as normal for the summertime.

3. Will be warm. Hard to predict the exact weather.

1. All rooms will be filled. Maybe not each room at capacity though.

2. School is out so there will be kids.

 

4. Probably pretty slim chance. You can always call and pay for an upgrade. More than likely will not be any cheaper than now.

Will it be crowded? Maybe, but the Legend is a big ship. School is out, so maybe a few more kids than other months. I've heard that the Legend is a more laid back ship, so maybe parents with kids pick other ships. We sail on her in April, so I don't know for sure until then.

I've sailed in the summer before and the price doesn't go down much for those months. If it's going to go down, it would likely be now. Just book the balcony. It's worth the difference! Then watch and see if the prices come down. You can always get an on board credit even after you have made finial payment, at least with Carnival.
