Snorkeling Grand Turk & Half Moon via Carnival

Has anyone taken any of the snorkel excursions offered by Carnival in either Grand Turk or Half Moon Cay.

 

My research keeps turning up that for now in Grand Turk about the only excursions are via ship, until the port grows more. I am thinking of the taking a snorkel excursion via the ship in both ports.

 

Normally I prefer to book excusions on my own but I have a ship credit to use and we have our own snorkel gear so looking for some input from previous cruisers.

I would also like any information regarding these excursions. Looking into the Reef and Rays in Grand Turk. Anyone done this??
