Capt Marvin's, Carnival babysitting and timing

We want to leave our 15 mo baby with port babysitting - they watch her from port arrival to noon. Capt Marvin's 3 hr snorkel excursion goes from 9:15am - 1pm - so I"m guessing that goes over the babysitting time so no can do?? His other snorkel is 2.5 half hr from 8:30 - 10:45am but we'd rather have an extra half hour.

Does anyone know about the port babysitting policy for Carnival and do they "wait" even if you come back after the 12 noon time since yur excursion goes over that?

Or do we need to suck it up and just take the 2.5 hour snorkel excursion to abide by Carnival's babysitting hours?

i am not sure of the policy.. but do you actually want to "get off ship" and leave your "baby on ship"... i dont know if i am comfortable with that... and/or if they would be...

i think its one thing if you want to watch a show for 1/2 hour or play bingo.. but would they let you get off the ship and leave the baby?
