Would like to get recommendations for hotel in Rome for 2 night stay in mid May. Somewhere around Termini Station, Trevi Fountain or Colosseum.

Try hotels.com and see if there are any deals on Aurulia Melia Antica

Hotel (not sure about spelling, but it is close) My wife and I stayed there for a week and it is a very nice hotel. It is on outskirts of Rome but the hotel has a bus that takes you right to the tourist area (Bernini Sq--(not sure of sp)

 

Beware of Termini station area---I had my wallet picked off by Gypsy girls on the way to the train---a little bump and run.
