Ft. Lauderdale - Wyndham Airport Hotel 0r Sheraton Yankee Trader?

We have standing reservations for the night before our cruise at both of these hotels. I need to cancel one but would like to get feedback from anyone who has stayed in either of them. The beach at the Yankee looks nice and the rooms at the Wyndham look really nice. Can anyone help?

Depending on the price, the Sheraton rooms may even be across the street from the beach. (They have a tower over there.)

I don't know anything about the Wyndham, but I love to stay on the beach.

The Sheraton has great food at their pool bar, which is on the beach.

Have fun!

I erred. The Yankee Trader is definitely all across from the beach. They do have a walkway over the street to the beach.

I was thinking of the Yankee Clipper when I said that their pool bar is on the beach.

I don't know about the Wyndham but my parents have stayed at the Yankee Clipper and said it was fine - they said it was easy to get to the beach and easy to get to the water taxi. My husband and I were going to stay there but decided to switch to the Hyatt since it is a delayed honeymoon.
