Snorkeling in Ketchikan, Alaska

Yes, it is cold. I would expect water temperatures in the low 50's to upper 40's. I believe that the ship's excursion will include the use of a wetsuit. The marine life would be somewhat similar to what you'd find in Northern California.

 

If you use "alaska" as a keyword of a search here, I'm sure you'll find other posts about snorkeling/scuba diving in Alaska.
