Liverno-Pisa-Florence: Guide Recommendation?

Paola of Florence Tour (WWW.florencetour.com) is a Licensed Guide :) whereas many of the others are just drivers so can't enter the Museums :(

I was on the Voyager in October and booked a driver in Livorno.

I used papillon services. The company responded fast to any email I send. The driver was also excellent. I shared the tour with people I met on cruise critc and it worked out great. Glad to hear you had a positive experience with Papillon. I have booked a Wine tour in Tuscany with them for Oct 07. I'm really looking forward to that one.:)

Oh yes the tour we did with Paola was pre-arranged by another person on our roll call. The tour operators will take reservations many months in advance, most without any deposit or even credit card info. We are going back to the Med in Sept and I have booked all of my private excursions months ago. I did contact Paola for a tour of the Chianti region for our port stop in Livorno, and although I decided to go with another company for their expertise of the wine area, Paola was very responsive. In fact I received an email from her just yesterday following up to see if we were still interested. As I mentioned, Paola is an excellent guide for Florence & Pisa. You can tell her exactly what you are interested in seeing and she will customize the day for you. ;)
