newbie2468 Posted January 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2007 On the Crown.. how much and what does it include in the Coffee Card/Soda Card? Is it feasible to bring a small coffee maker.. perhaps buy one in San Juan (as I hate to lug it in luggage) or is the coffee card sufficient? i.e. easier to deal with than a coffee maker in the room Thanks
Julia’s Journey’s Posted January 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2007 I think the coffee pot would be a fire hazard. You can order coffee from room service if you are in your room. The speciality coffee's - cuppucchino, latte's etc are included on the card which is valid for 15 of them. The soda card is for fountain drinks, not cans. We take ours all the time as we don't like the ships coffee. (last month we gave it to the casino manager for his cabin the morning we disembarked the ship) Just make sure it is thermostatically controlled and you won't have a problem. They also make tiny 'one cup at a time' coffee makers that don't even use a warming plate that are just perfect. You can put them in your checked bag or in your carry on. newbie2468 Posted January 12, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted January 12, 2007 Thanks for the quick reply... I didn't want to buy a little coffee maker anyway. (I don't drink the coffee) I had just heard that the coffee on board was not too good.. My DH just likes a few cups of coffee.. not speciality in the a.m. and I thought the card might be a solution.
