Balcony on BA room on Dawn

Hi - Can anybody advise how big is the balcony on a BA Stateroom, and what type of seating is there on the balcony?

It depends on the cabin number. The AFT BA's on deck 10 have huge balconies. On most balconies you will find 2 chairs and a small table.

That is right. I will be in one in a few weeks and that is what you get. How many people were you thinking of puttin in there?

Thanks for your replies. We will be midship on deck 10 so presume we will get two chairs and a table, didn't know whether any balconies had sun lounger. Probably wishful thinking on my part!!

When I was on the Star (sister ship of the Dawn), we had a BA cabin midship. You will have two chairs. But I have heard of people asking the cabin steward to bring them a lounger and replace one of the chairs with it. Didn't do it myself, but it would fit if you took out a chair. (a little tight though).

If you are looking to sun yourself on the balcony however, don't plan on it. Due to the balconies above, very little sun gets into the BA balconies.

That is very true. We never had any sun on our balcony!!!!!

Agreed -- and this is why I love cruise ship balconies! I can enjoy being outside without getting fried. I'm willing to pay the extra to insure that I always have a nice, shady spot. Even when the ship is heading north/south, they only get direct sun for a few hours a day.
