merryecho Posted August 9, 2004 #101 Share Posted August 9, 2004 We spent 10 days in a cabin next door to a family with a 2 year old that screamed for what seemed like hours, every night. Because they couldn't change our room, the cruise line gave us a $100 credit. No wonder HAL chooses to discourage small children by charging a full fare. (By the way, the parents were completley clueless. They obviously thought everyone adored their little darling. They didn't.)
brigittetom Posted August 9, 2004 #102 Share Posted August 9, 2004 3 YEAR OLD? 'DEMANDING'? COMMOTION? 2 more words if you are cruising with babies who can't behave in an adult situation- ROOM SERVICE  Who do you blame??? The three year old for demanding, or the parents that allow a 3 yo to demand that the cook has to prepare pancakes when the Lido is closed. Pefect example of why you should tip well for toddlers.
