Pickland Posted January 16, 2007 #26 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Does anyone know if it is possible to get radio stations while on board, esp. at night?
rick-mke Posted January 16, 2007 #27 Share Posted January 16, 2007 We were on the Grand last week and thought she was in great shape. Overall the food was good. On one ocassion our waiter warned us of an entree that wasn't up to par before he took our order. After that I always asked for recommendations before ordering and we were never disappointed. There were three of us in cabin A403 and we thought the beds were ok. We didn't have any sags as some have reported. Have a great cruise.
jakzak Posted January 16, 2007 #28 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Just saw the post. Please say hello to the birthday boy from us. We are traveling on the Crown on July 23rd, 9 night from Redhook. If you don't have plans....the first drink is on me. Take care for now. Alan
wintermom Posted January 16, 2007 #29 Share Posted January 16, 2007 We did the New Years on the Grand in a mini and were very pleased. Our balcony was covered (I found out on this board which ones were and booked it, it was extra large too). My only complaint with our cabin was the t.v.'s . We had two but no remote, we asked about it and the next day we got one, (needed another one for DD) had to ask again for it. Got it two days later but it never worked, but not a big deal. We were very pleased with the food, especially dinner, we had the late seating and our waitress Sanda was fantastic. We have been on Disney 3 times, Celebrity twice, I thought Princess beat them all on food. Loved the tea in the afternoons too! The boarding and disembarking was a mess but I blame Customs for that.
