Norwegian Pearl Wedding

Hello - I plan on getting married on the Norwegian Pearl in April. We're leaning towards a ceremony on the ship in Barbados. Is a Barbados wedding license recognized in the U.S. (is it a legal document?). Also, can anyone share Norwegian wedding experiences with me? Thank You!!!

From what I remember from my Family Law class, the US generally recognizes any marriage so long as it is valid in the country where the marriage occurs. Also, both people must be able to get married (i.e. not married to anyone else, not close blood relatives...). I'm not sure how the specifics work, but if you contact your county clerk, they can probably help you get the information you need.
