THE GRAND DRYDOCK ?'s....

Grand Princess had a scheduled drydock in October, just before returning to Galveston. Apparently, several mechanical and maintenance issues were tackled. No re-design of interiors or anything like that took place.

You will usually see soft goods like carpets, bedding, etc. replaced on an ongoing basis as needed. Maintenance of any ship continues during normal cruise operations. If you look around you can always find something that is getting to the point of requiring attention. We've even had cabin carpets replaced during a cruise.
