DLH Posted January 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Does anyone know where they will show it on the ship? The Shanghai bar seems to be a walk through area and is small. Henry's will be too smoke filled for me. Will they use a show lounge?

cruiserssandr Posted January 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2007 You should be able to watch the Pats beat da Bears in all the bars. We also hope to see the Pats beat the Bears on our Pearl cruise. When we were on the Sun in 2005 the Super Bowl was shown in the main theater as well as in our room. JerseyGem Posted January 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2007 On our cruise, the games were on the cabin TV's plus in the Shanghai and Henry's. (And maybe elsewhere, but not in the main theater). TV reception comes and goes (very frustrating). If the TV you're watching freezes the picture or goes fuzzy, the same thing is happening on all the TV's on board- a few people ran down to Henry's from their cabins thinking the reception was better there. It wasn't! Henry's can be smoky- sit near the entrance or the door to the promenade area (and go out if you need to breathe LOL). Shanghai- if the game is really important to you (another LOL), sit on the side closer to the TV's. When people walk by, they'll be behind you (and won't block your view). RooksWS6 Posted January 16, 2007 #7 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Where's all the love for Peyton?? It will be Colts over the Saints by field goal. It will be close this weekend, but Tom Brady's playoff luck will run out in Indy. :D I'll be on the Sun on 2/4 as well sporting a Joseph Addai jersey! Thanks for the info, I will probably just watch it at the Shanghai Bar if it isn't in a bigger room.
