MamaParrotHead Posted January 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Originally there were 4 of us going on our cruise and we booked a room with Priceline in Miami (Crowne Plaza at MIA). Since then another couple has booked to join us (obviously not wanting to pay the $250+ rack rate for a few hours of sleep), and it's OK with us if we bunk on the floor, etc. but I'm kind of nervous about someone saying something. Right now, we're planning on the other 2 just hanging out outside the hotel (once we're dropped off) and waiting until we're checked in, then coming up. I'm assuming since we're arriving so late (11 p.m.), it's not like there's going to be a ton of staff around to notice. ???
MonaCK Posted January 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Honestly? I wouldn't worry about it. I remember doing stuff like that when I was in college and it was never a problem.
KINGBOBOFTHENORTH Posted January 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2007 The hotel will NEVER know. After you check-in and go to your room they simply come in like other guests and head up in the elevator. If the elevator requires a key to operate one of you would simply go outside and give them a key. In a large hotel like that no one keeps track (or even could keep track) of who is registered and who isn't. BobK/Orlando
dolphins76 Posted January 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I work at a hotel and its never a problem....and we never ask question. Aslong as the room is paid for and the people in the room are not being loud. Happy Sailing!!!! Jayme
