Wine/Cork Screw Question

Hi Fellow Cruisers,

We know you can take wine on board when embarking. For those who have done so recently, what is the policy for bringing on your own cork screw?

Thank you and Happy Cruising

We stopped before going to the port, picked up 2 bottles, but didn't give a thought to the corkscrew. Called and asked room service if they had one. They immediately were at the door with one of the "Carnival" plastic souvenir-type corkscrews, which we were allowed to keep, but of course we tipped the person a few bucks. Problem solved! ;)

If you are flying to your port, be sure the corkscrew is in your checked luggage, because Security at the airport will take it from you.

Also, regarding wine glasses....ask at one of the bars and they will gladly give you two wine glasses. But, if you ask at a bar near the pool they will give you plastic wine glasses. Just FYI! :D

Fellow Cruisers

Thank you for the information you gave us on wine and corkscrews.

It was very helpful.

Looking forward to our cruise on the Miracle on Aug 7.

Can't wait!

Happy Cruising
