Famof6 Posted January 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Our family of six leaves on Mariner 6/3/07. Has anyone got suggestions for transportation to and from Port Canaveral? We fly in to Orlando one day before the cruise, but our flight out is in the afternoon of the day we debark. We can't all fit in one taxi...any other options? clarkmar624 Posted January 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Hi there! We fly into Orlando on Sat., February 3rd and cruise on Sunday, Feb. 4th. There are 6 of us in our group and I have reserved Art's Shuttle Service. The cost is $100.00 one way. They will pick us up at the airport and take us to the Radisson in Port Canaveral on Saturday. On Sunday, the Radisson has a shuttle service to the Port, but we are taking a taxi to get there sooner. Then on Sunday, Feb. 11th when we return on the Mariner, Art's Shuttle will pick us up and take us to Orlando Airport. This is another $100. Our flight leaves at 1:15 p.m. They have a web site at artsshuttle.com and you can call and get a price from them. Have a great cruise. Only 16 more days until we leave. "Hooray!!!!" harry0 Posted January 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I just used Arts last week. Everything went fine. I would use him again, just make sure you confirm reservations the day before.

elleluv Posted January 18, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 18, 2007 You might want to check into the cost of renting a mini-van... There are only two of us, but we were able to rent a car for about $40 from Thrifty. I'm sure a mini-van would be more, but I would definitely check it out. Christy1120 Posted January 19, 2007 #9 Share Posted January 19, 2007 We are flying in to Orlando on Feb. 10 and sailing out Feb. 11th. We rented a car for the 10th and purchased a transfer on our return.
bobbie0253 Posted January 19, 2007 #10 Share Posted January 19, 2007 We are a family of six (soon to be seven) and we rented a mini van. I think it was through Budget. A limo may be around the same price as cruiseline transfers. If you do rent from Budget, play around on the web site. You can sometimes get the price to drop by clicking on their specials and reserving that way.
