Carnival Freedom question

Will be on the Freedom this summer and was wondering what the earliest flight I should book out of Rome going home. Not sure what time the shuttle leaves the boat to the airport.

Since there are no "customs issues" at the port [they occur once you return home], people started leaving the Liberty before 7am. Keep in mind the Rome Airport...hardly the most organized one I've been in...is about 90 minutes from the dock

Carnival told me that my return flight time of 10:20 AM was "perfect" and that I'd have no trouble making it. Can anyone offer me their opinion/expertise based on this time?

We have the same flight out - around 10:20am, we plan on leaving the ship around 6:30am, get to the airport around 8am (hopefully)

Yes, $75 per person. I was told by Carnival that if you booked return transfers through them that they would make sure you got to the airport on time for your flight. As this is my first cruise, I'm not sure if they actually DO what they promise.
