KUCruiser Posted January 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Scheduled Carnival Liberty for June. Ports are Freeport, Bahamas; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Costa Maya, Mexico. Want to snorkel in at least one port. If choosing one, what would you recommend? 2 adults and 2 teenagers will be participating. Thanks!:p
krzycrzr Posted January 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Everything I read says that Stingray city in Grand Cayman is one of the 10 best snokeling destinations in the Carribean. I have not been there, but have family that went and said it was amazing. We plan on going the next time we are in Grand Cayman. We snorkeled palancar reef in Cozumel and it was wonderful also. Lots of fish, coral, and even a few turtles! You can always check out a vacation guide. I believe Frommer's has a guide that describes the available excursions and gives ratings. Hope this helps! bioman Posted January 20, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2007 We were in Grand Cayman in May 2005. Booked an excursion through Celebrity to Stingray City and the Reef. Would definately recommend it to anyone that is stopping in Grand Cayman.
