WorkingMomNeedsaVacation Posted January 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2007 I saw another thread here about a recent cruise where they docked in Cozumel. Does anyone know if the Miracle is able to dock every week or do they rotate? Is there any place to get information on who will dock and who will tender? Just trying to get a sense of how long it will take to reach Cozumel when we are there next month since we booked excursions independently. Thanks! LHP Posted January 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2007 The Miracle docked in October at Punta Langosta (across from CarlosNCharlies) but it really depends on the :dock fairies:. (related to the upgrade fairies) There is a website that will tell you how many ships are scheduled to be in port that day. Of course, if there are only 3 or 4 ships, you will probably dock. If there are 8 ships, who knows. I will look for the website address.

WorkingMomNeedsaVacation Posted January 19, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Thanks. We'll be one of 5 ships there that day. We're on the Miracle. The schedule shows: Carnival Miracle 9 am Fascination 1 pm NCL Majesty 10 am P&O Oceana 9 am Star Princess 8 am How many ships can dock at a time there now? Do certain cruise lines get priority? Or is it truly just luck of the draw?? I hope it is not as random as updrade fairies!

I believe the International Pier (RCCL) holds 1 but it may be 2. I would say you have a good chance of docking. Although we have never figured out the "system" other than luck. BTW, don't be discouraged if they hand you a sheet of paper when you board showing that Cozumel will be tendering. They handed us that sheet that said we were going to tender and we ended up docking!
