Crown Princess New England

We are taking the Crown's New England/Canada cruise this fall. I am considering booking my own air and pre stay hotel. The cruise leaves from New York. I haven't been to New York since I was a kid, so I'm not familiar with the area at all. Any tips would be appreaciated.What about transportation from airport/hotel/cruise ?? Thanks.

You reserve the car with a credit card but paying cash on the day of service is 10% cheaper.

 

They were very prompt--in fact they called US as we were getting off the plane. Cost? fall 06 it was $35 plus tip from LGA to the Brooklyn Cruise Dock.

 

We always find our own trans after some horrid delays both ways using different cruise lines' transportation.
