gomomgo Posted January 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2007 We have booked for the Grand Princess Catamaran/snorkel and Gumbalimba park excursion on April 3. Will there be time and opportunity for us to also do some kayaking at the park and possibly snorkeling from the beach? Is there a set time that our tour will need to leave the park or is there a wide time frame? Are there lockers and changing facilities?
robertscj Posted January 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2007 No lockers but if you have stuff the water activities building puts it into a locked room and gives you a number. You will have plenty of time as you go back to the ship on a different bus than you came. When they fill up a bus they send it back. So in theory you could be the first to arrive and last to leave. :) Snorkeling is excellent at Gumbalimba Park beach after you get past the sea grass. The clear kayak tour is a offered tour at Gumbalimba and the guides use the ocean kayaks that are available so you might have trouble renting a kayak. Snorkeling is $10 for rental and free is you have stuff. Complimentary guides are available. Tips are appreciated when going on a guided tour. gomomgo Posted January 30, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted January 30, 2007 Thanks for that info. I was really hoping we'd be able to stay past the 2:00 time the excursion quoted and it sounds like we can. Trying to get in as much beach and snorkeling time as possible!
