Belize v. costa rica ziplining

We're thinking of going on the Carnival Miracle next year (1/08) with our 4 kids (11, 10, 8, 6). Ziplining sounds like a lot of fun. Any opinions on whether it's better in Costa Rica or Belize? Our ship would stop at both Limon and Belize City. Also - age limits on ziplining? Can a 6 year old handle it?

We did the ziplining in Costa Rica and my 2 sons were 6/8. The 8 yearold did the first line by himself but was a little scared he finished the lines with a "taxi". The 6 year old started and ended with a "taxi". A taxi is where the kids ride aalong with one of their employees.

Needless to say my boys loved it. We are going again in April and they both want to try going by themselves this time.

Costa Rica, hands down. Your choices from Limon are Almonds and Corals (the furthest, but a very nice lodge and run with the last zipline ending on the beach) or Jungle Breezes (the closest and still very nice)

You can arrange transportation at the pier or prebook with a reputable vendor, such as Charlie Soto - found at the Costa Rica board.

The zip-line in Belize is very short.
