Jacky4 Posted January 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2007 We are spending the day at the Atlantis when we dock in Nassau. We have already booked a room since we will be in Nassau from 7:00 am until 6:00 am the next morning. I have heard the prices at the restaurants are outrageous. Does anyone know if it make any sense (costwise) for a family of 4 to go back to the ship to eat lunch/dinner and take a taxi back to the Atlantis after? Also is it possible to walk from the Atlantis to the ship?
CruiseAddict! Posted January 25, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Although Atlantis is not that far from the cruise ship dock, you still have to pay for either a land or water taxi and the cost of doing that would makes the savings on the food not worth it most likely. I hear the food at the Atlantis is quite expensive, though. Sandwiches at the Deli are almost $20 so be prepared. Atlantis is a great property especially if you have kids. Enjoy! You don't have to eat at Atlantis, there are other places, not owned by Atlantis nearby. Anthony's is across the street, Blue lagoon is next door, Zio Gigi's is nearby in the Hurricane hole Shopping center and green parrot harbourside grill is at the Hurricane Hole marina. These prices are much more moderate. If you want native food on PI.. go to the Blue marlin and catch the floor show at 8pm. There's a cover.. but it's fun.
