Seeing the Volcano

Is NCl the only cruise ships who turn around so you can see the volcano flo from both sides????

I read on the boards that a Princess ship did it but not sure if it is Fleetwide or each captain makes the choice:D :D

I was recently on the Holland America Zaandam, and we did go past the lava flow, but on this day, we had really strong winds which were slowing the ship down a little, so we got there later than usual, and the captain decided it was too dangerous to turn the ship because of the winds. We were told that, if the sea conditions are favourable, the ship will turn around so both sides can view. By the way, announcements were made several hours ahead of time to advise us that the captain would not be turning the ship.
