poohs4me Posted January 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2007 I have never booked with RCCL before and am curious which is the better way to go. Are there any differences in booking one way or the other? Shorter cancelation period, better offers, etc.
sea-cruise Posted January 25, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2007 I have received email offers from a major online cruise company, and then called RCCL directly and asked if they could match the "hot deal" they offered. The RCCL rep then asked me what the "code" number was (the one that is in the upper right hand corner of the screen). After holding for a short time while she searched the code (or offer) number, she matched the price, which was only 399.00 pp
RoofingPrincess Posted January 25, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2007 it is my understanding that the online site will only show you a maximum of 5 or 6 available cabins, whereas if you call in, they have access to all the possibilities
FloatingFreely Posted January 25, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Great question. I'm new to RCCL also and haven't booked my cruise yet ( waiting for the June 2008 cruises to post ) this is a helpful question. Thanks.
nddomer04 Posted January 26, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2007 It's really personal preference. You can always book online, and then talk to an agent over the phone to see if there are other cabins available within your category. I always do this if the website shows at least 5 or 6 rooms available. That's my cue that there are probably a lot more than that....for whatever reason, the website only shows a select few.
