The walk to water taxis

Hello,

 

We plan on taking the water taxi from Belize City to Caye Caulker. How safe and unhindered is the walk from the ship to the water taxis?

From the tourist village it is a five minute walk. The taxis are located by the bridge next to the tourist village. Check the return time and be prepared for a high speed ride.

What is there to do there??? do u know how much the water taxi ride is??

I am still seeking information on how safe the walk is from the ship pier to the water taxis.
