CEB Posted November 4, 2004 #26 Share Posted November 4, 2004 Katie, Thanks for the info on Mariner of the Seas. We are sailing on her in July 2005. I hope the parking/unloading baggage siutation at Pt. Canaveral has improved.
bpear1600 Posted November 4, 2004 #27 Share Posted November 4, 2004 FAMILY of 14: Your recollection of the Mariner is a lot closer to what we experienced last January than OP's. We loved the ship and will be sailing on it again in a couple of months. When I was in the cruise business many years ago one of my clients had a problem getting shortchanged by a bartender on the Song of America. RCCL told me these people are furnished by a firm which staffs most cruiselines. I don't know what the deal is today but they were not RCCL employees back then. We try not to sweat the small stuff when we're on vacation. What's the point? If there's a real problem just deal with it and move on.
