ChristieNJ Posted January 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2007 We are located on the Jersey Shore. If you didn't want to drive to the port, is a train in the area up there? I mean I know they're all over of course, but what directions would one follow for getting to the port by train? I couldn't find anything on their site about it. We may be taking a one-night cruise in June. Thanks for any info!! :)
dawn Feb 2 Posted January 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2007 Your best bet is probably to take a train to Penn Station and then get a cab to the terminal. Depending on traffic, the cab ride should only be about 15 or 20 minutes.
johnql Posted January 28, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2007 If you're close to any of the stations on NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast Line, then you could easily take one of their trains into Penn Station. From there, it's a short, inexpensive cab ride to the pier.
ChristieNJ Posted January 28, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted January 28, 2007 Awesome...thanks so much for the info! I wasn't sure if Penn or Grand Station would be the way to go, but now I see it's Penn Station. Thanks again!!! :)
