Good Beaches in San Juan???

The last time I was in San Juan we noticed that there were good waves on some of the public beaches. Does anyone know of a nice resort beach (either available to the public for free or for reasonable fee) with decent waves and a place to get food/drinks?

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

if you like to surf there is a beach in isla verde close to Ritz Carlton. Look in Isla Verde in gotopuertorrico.com there are some cheap hotels. For Big Waves you better go to Rincon that is out of san juan. (3 hours)
