FOS on Superbowl Sunday

Hi Everyone,

 

Can anyone tell me how crazy it will be on Superbowl Sunday? My wife and I are arriving in Orlando on Saturday,renting a car, staying in Jupiter Florida Saturday night, then we're going to drive to Miami Sunday morning, drop off the car at the rental agency and try to get a cab to the port. I talked to Enterprise, and they do not offer a shuttle and couldn't tell me how difficult it would be to get a cab.

 

Also, on the return trip I have a similar question, how easy is it to pick up a cab from the port to Miami airport? The shuttle service the port recommends is not picking up at the port on 2/10. (Sounds kind of strange, but I called Super Shuttle myself.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know how crazy it's going to be Superbowl Sunday, but I'd guess traffic will be a bear so give yourself extra time. As to the shuttle service, if you told them 2/10 that's the problem - we're on the same cruise and it's not docking back in Miami until 2/11. :)

Hey fellow super bowl cruisers!

Not sure how traffic will be but in light of the fact that I was almost going to sleep at the airport I suspect the city will be pretty nuts!

 

Even if I have to crawl to port I'll get there one way or another.
